We understand the process of permanent recruitment is more than placing an advertisement on the internet and hoping for the right person. We make sure that not only the candidates skills fit but that they also match the cultural fit of the prospective company. How do we achieve all this? By following the six steps below we are able to attract the right candidates through knowledge of what you need and what our candidates are looking for:
1. The Job Brief
Our recruiters will go to your office to take the job brief. This not only gives them the chance to learn more about the role but will give them the chance to meet their potential work colleagues and have a look at the environment they will be working in. From this we can gain valuable information about the role and the working conditions and can then start searching for the correct candidate.
2. Candidate Sourcing
There are many ways to find a candidate, however at First Choice Recruitment South Ltd we research the best possible places to find your candidate, whether through head hunting, internet, referrals, networking or print media. After we establish the best approach we target our resources and begin the search for the ideal candidate.
3. Screening and Interviewing of Candidates
With the many candidates that may apply for the position we must meticulously sort through them to make sure that the most appropriate candidates are found. We then interview all appropriate candidates to assess whether they have all the necessary qualifications and skills needed to perform the task that is required. From there a short list is determined including those that have the appropriate skills and in addition are the right fit for your team.
4. Selection Process
Once we are confident of the short list selected, we will then organise each candidate according to the job requirement.
5. Reference Checks
First Choice Recruitment South Ltd do reference checks on all candidates, we will also provide you with necessary details should you wish to verify the references obtained.
6. Candidate and Client Care
The process is not complete once placement is made and we do contact both you and the candidate regularly throughout the three month probation period to make sure that both parties are happy with the outcome. We are always available to discuss any issues that may arise and will work closely to resolve anything that may arise.
